About this position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer (m/w/d) to join our team and help us develop high-quality web applications for our clients. As a Senior Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our client's web applications using the Laravel PHP framework.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in web application development using Laravel PHP framework.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP programming language and the Laravel framework.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Symfony or CodeIgniter.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Laravel PHP framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance issues in the applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and application performance.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
